Sunrise at Common Ground

Our color theme was Sunrise at Common Ground and everyone rose to the challenge. Par and Penguin enjoyed our new Tinies Dance Ball donated by Rhiannon to Common Ground! Ricken spun lots of great sunny songs for us! And, Mel came as one - "House of the Rising Sun"! Such creativity abounds!

Midnight at the Party Plaza

Our color theme for Common Ground was Midnight, so everyone came as the night sky! It was lovely to be surrounded by so many stars!

World Aids Day in Second Life

I attented several World Aids Day events in Second LIfe produced by my friend Ricken Flow. He is a leader and supporter of people with HIV/AIDS in SL. Ricken is also a supporter of my efforts in SL as my awesome DJ for the weekly Common Ground networking event at the Nonprofit Commons. So much serious talent, strength, and stories in one guy who makes me laugh too when he plays his mashup "More Cowbell!" I attented some of the performances at Catcher in the Pie and the opening of the HIV/AIDS support island. The information shared at these events made it clear we all must listen, act, and care.
