"Meet the Artist" at Catcher in the Pie Cafe

I am so thankful! My "Meet the Artist" event was such a delight! Voodoo, owner of the Catcher in the Pie Cafe, welcomed guests and wonderful tunes were played by DJ LilTank! It was an honor to have friends and new friends come and support my opening! Thank you everyone!!!

Solo Show in Second Life

Wow! Special thanks to Catcher in the Pie Cafe for hosting my first solo show in Second Life!

Grand Opening of the Treasured Isle Mall

We had the Grand Opening of the Treasured Isle Mall with live music and dj dancing produced by Merc and Jarhead! It was a happy affair with oldtime pals and new friends. My shop, "hue are you?" was blessed with visitors and sales. Thank you all for your support and kindness!
Afterwards, I rested in my new chair and chatted with my friends. So much more color to come!

Yellow - You are my sunshine!

Super bright sunshine shone at Common Ground @ Plush NPC! Mel and Par stole the show with their outfits of mustard and a banana! Common Ground continues to be a place to connect with others and learn more about what nonprofits are doing in Second Life.

After the party, I thought I would take some shots of my new gown I made that afternoon.

Halloween Party at Nonprofit Commons

Happy Halloween! We had party on both Nonprofit Common sims, Aloft and Plush, with trick and treating, a dance with DJ Ricken Flow, and three movies after the dance. Everyone dressed up in costume and we had a blast meeting and greeting new folks the the NPC. Terra and I did our door by door trick'n'treating as we enjoyed awesome decorations by Mel. Merc and Anika did a great job with the party, as well as, all of their support crew! We got lots of treats by the way!

Polka

Kasper visited me at the Common Ground Party Plaza to check out my finished "Disco Inferno" Halloween costume. We decided to take it for a whirl trying out the ever popular Polka dance ball. Check out Kasper's shoes! They so hip it hurts!

The Rings

"The RIngs" is a Second Life performance piece that encourages people to take action over the troubling things they see in the world. It is filled with song, dance, and dialog with visual elements that over take the senses and inspire the soul.

White at Common Ground Plaza

Has hard as it was, everyone managed to find or make something white to wear to Common Ground. I wore my first successful flexi skirt of glittery satin. Yes, I cheated and colored the underskirt my warm hues.

Common Ground @ NPC

Looking over the party set up. Planning and launching a new networking event at Plush Nonprofit Commons has been rewarding and a great learning experience. Several people have been super helpful in the building of the “Party Plaza”, getting the word out, and preparing the music stream. We intend to host this event every Thursday night at 7 PM SLT with a different color theme each week. Our grand opening is September 18 and we have been practicing each week to iron out the kinks. Come dancing!

Wharf Ratz

Every Tuesday Night at 8 PM SLT, Coughran hosts the Wharf Ratz Party at Preferred Family Healthcare on Aloft Nonprofit Commons. Much dancing and dialog happen between people who support all kinds of nonprofit orgs, as well as, guests who are interested in good deeds. This past week, Coughran passed out trampolines for us to bounce on after I described the springboard action of the McMenamins' Crystal Ballroom in Portland. Wheee! While being tossed in the air, I had flashbacks of the documentary I did about the McMenamins' Brew Pubs. Good times and free stout to boot!

NPC Awareness

Last night was a party for create awareness about all the great nonprofic groups working in SL at NonProfit Commons Aloft (NPC2). Live music, dancing, and insight about the amazing work people are doing inworld for the real world.
